Large-format tile shows lippage that a small tile would hide. Any tile sitting even slightly proud of its neighbour catches the light across the whole wall.

02 · What we did
Every joint clipped rather than spaced, so adjacent tiles are pulled into the same plane while the mortar cures. Clips come off after set and the joint is grouted to a consistent width.
03 · The result
A flat wall with an even grout line, dark enough to read as a deliberate grid rather than a failed attempt at invisible joints.
